Hello, welcome back!
When I was a child, one of my ambitious dreams was to be a professional football player. Because, it is what was played the most by my friends in the neighborhood.
Choosing what to study was very difficult when I left school, among the options I had were commercial, chemical or environmental engineering. That's right, it is not the career I am studying now. Why, before choosing engineering in renewable natural resources I spent a year in commercial engineering (my mentality was to study to work and have money). The career seemed interesting to me the first year, until I passed to the second year and along with the pandemic I had an existential crisis, since Commercial Engineering was not something that filled me and I was interested in learning. So I decided to freeze a year to think about how I wanted to plan my future.Nature is something that I like since I was a child, when I used to visit my grandparents the place I liked the most was the forest. As I grew up I never stopped liking it. It was because of this that weeks before the results of the admission test, I unexpectedly found out about the existence of Engineering in Renewable Natural Resources and when I saw the courses of the career it was automatically my first choice.
Despite how much I like the career, it has been difficult to adapt to a good pace of study after the semester, so I have suffered a lot with some courses. However, I have met some great people in the program who have been very supportive and I am very happy with the friendships that have been formed.
